Public Works has announced an upcoming virtual community meeting to discuss the proposed sound-wall project. The project is located in East Los Angeles on Marengo Street between Ditman Avenue and City Terrace Drive.

Proposed improvements will remodel the existing fencing by constructing a masonry sound-wall and adding acoustic barriers to some of the existing chain link fence to reduce traffic noise at the school. The project will also include planting vines along the wall and new trees, repairs to the sidewalk and driveway. The wall will be constructed within the public road right of way. The project team will present the project and address questions from the community.
